Nashville Philanthropist Laura Niewold

Laura Niewold spent nearly four decades as a private practice attorney in Nashville, Tennessee. She excelled at representing clients in custody cases and throughout divorce proceedings, particularly those involving property disputes. Laura Niewold has been board-certified with the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 2002. She was sworn in to the United States Supreme Court (admitted to its bar) in 2018. Her achievements include being named to Mid-South Super Lawyers in family law multiple times.

Laura Niewold is an active supporter of the nonprofit organization Friends of Warner Parks. Her efforts have generated upwards of $1 million for the park and related children’s programs. She also contributes to the 2023 Conservancy Gala, through which she supports the Parthenon at Centennial Park. She has chaired various balls, fashion shows, and gala events for these and other community organizations. She also serves on the Harpeth Hall School’s Alumni Parent Annual Fund Committee.

Laura Niewold received her law degree from the Nashville School of Law. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, where she was a member of the Alpha Mu Chapter of Kappa Delta sorority.
